Now it is the time to see in practice how AR can support teachers and students in classroom. We would like to introduce to you the ARETE project and tell you of its objectives, implementation process and interesting results. We will focus on ARETE Pilot 2, which investigated the impact of AR on STEM skills learning and retention. To study whether AR helps students to acquire STEM skills and retain the complex information for longer, ARETE Pilot 2 tested two immersive AR applications for learning Geography and Geometry, developed by CleverBooks.
We recommend that you download the applications in advance. You can do so both for Android and Apple devices. Access codes will be soon on the Padlet below. There are two apps, one for Geometry and one for Geography class. We recommend you download both, even if these are not your school subjects.
