Navigating Innovative Technologies Across the Curriculum

CodeWeek

Welcome to the MOOC Navigating Innovative Technologies Across the Curriculum

On this page

Navigating Innovative Technologies Across the Curriculum is a new EU Code Week MOOC aimed at integrating coding skills and computational thinking into diverse subject areas beyond the traditional computer science classroom. The course involves the application of coding concepts, computational thinking and problem-solving skills in subjects such as languages, arts, STEM subjects, social studies and PE. We will explore immersive learning experiences and the interactive nature of augmented and virtual reality to enhance student motivation and engagement. By the end of the course, the participants will create their own cross-curricular learning activities, ready to be implemented. This MOOC is organized around the concept of blended learning with onsite study-groups working in conjunction with the online course.

Join your like-minded peers from the EU Code Week community and beyond to navigate innovative technologies together. Engage in meaningful discussions, experiment with new tools and resources and bring new learning opportunities to your classroom.

You can follow the course at your own pace. We will open one module at the beginning of each week, but there is only a single deadline you need to pay attention to (the one for the peer assessment activity).

Join us in the Facebook group or share your thoughts on Twitter using the hashtag #CodeWeekNavigatingTech.
