Find out more about the issue of Copyrights in Education here: Exploring reuse of audiovisual content for education | Europeana Pro

Sound, visual, and audiovisual materials available on Europeana are valuable resources to enrich educational activities. However, original work is protected by copyright, and it is important to know how protected materials can be used lawfully in education. Can we use all available resources? What does copyright licensing and attribution mean and why is it important? During the webinar, aspects of the copyright framework will be presented and simply explained to enable formal and non-formal educators to correctly use Europeana resources. In addition, through scenarios and examples the rights of content authors and content users will be discussed.
