Course Staff
Giuseppe Mossuti works as a project manager at the Science Education Department of European Schoolnet (EUN). He manages and coordinates all EUN's activities for Make it Open, i.e., MOOC, publications, etc. For EUN, he also manages activities related to Europeana DS, an EU funded project which promotes the use of Digital Cultural Heritage resources for teaching and learning. Besides holding a Master’s degree in Sociology and an MSc in Social Research, Giuseppe is a licenced journalist and has authored and contributed to publications for newspapers, magazines and public institutions. He has proven communication expertise in four languages: English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Sheetal Jalan has been a STEM educator for 16 years. She had the opportunity to work in the continents of Europe and Asia, where she believes she learned the best practices of both - east and west. She has been a Scientix Ambassador since 2021 and has taken an active role in dissemination of its activities and EdTech Projects and her association with European SchoolNet has been longer. Currently, she is teaching Science & Technology at Futuraskolan, Stockholm. She is also the ICT coordinator for the school. She has an Honors degree in Physics besides her degree in B.Ed. She loves traveling and reading books.

Paulo Blikstein - Course Contributor
An Associate Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. He directs the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab researching how new technologies can transform STEM learning. He creates and researches cutting-edge educational technologies, such as computer modeling, robotics, digital fabrication, and rapid prototyping, creating hands-on learning environments in which children learn STEM disciplines by building sophisticated projects and devices. He also focuses on the application of data-mining and machine learning for the assessment of project-based learning. Blikstein pioneered the maker movement in schools and started Fablearn Labs, the first educational program around digital fabrication in schools.
Tamar Fuhrmann - Course Contributor
A Senior Research Scientist at the Teachers College, Columbia University, where she leads studies and research projects at the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab and the global FabLearn Program. Her work examines ways to integrate STEM, new educational technologies, and constructionist activities into the school curriculum. She works on several international research projects, co-leading international PD workshops, developing educational technologies, computer modeling environments, and STEM curricular units. She hopes to profoundly transform the learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and implement a constructionist mindset into school settings.
Julie Ng - Course Contributor
Julie Ng is project manager with the Future Heritage Lab and Maker Education Lab in the Learn programme at Waag. She works on a multitude of projects focusing on contemporary forms of education and interaction, empowering people to participate meaningfully in society.
