Active Learning and Innovative Teaching in Flexible Learning Spaces

Novigado

Welcome to the MOOC Active Learning and Innovative Teaching in Flexible Learning Spaces

On this page

The course aims to support teachers, school leaders and related stakeholders in the transition from a conventional and teacher-centered classroom into teaching practices that promote active learning with the support of flexible, innovative learning environments and the use of relevant ICT.

Participants will be introduced to the theoretical background and principles of active learning, and they will learn how to apply active learning in their own classrooms including adapting physical learning spaces. During the course, participants will also learn about learning beyond the traditional classroom and will be given the opportunity to create their own learning scenarios.

You can follow the course at your own pace. We will open one module at the beginning of each week, but there are only a few deadlines you need to pay attention to (those for the quizzes and/or the peer-review activity).
