Cover Crop:
Cover crop is the arable land on which plants are sown specifically to reduce the loss of soil, nutrients, and plant protection products during the winter or other periods when the land would otherwise be bare and susceptible to losses.

Reduced tillage is a sustainable management practice during which a minimum of 30% of the soil surface must be covered by the previous crop’s residue following the planting operation.
